GOUNIDC Shines at Royal Rhetorics Anniversary Cup
The Godfrey Okoye University Nigeria Debate Council (GOUNIDC) has once again demonstrated its growing strength and promise with an outstanding performance at the Royal Rhetorics Anniversary Cup Tournament.
At the highly competitive event, Egbogu Favour, Ajoiyi Kosisochukwu, and Njemanze Chiamaka delivered exceptional individual performances, earning prestigious speaker awards. Egbogu Favour emerged as the 5th Best Speaker, Ajoiyi Kosisochukwu was recognised as the 6th Best Speaker, while Njemanze Chiamaka clinched the 8th Best Speaker award, an impressive feat that reflects their dedication, preparation, and debating excellence.
In addition to the individual honours, Team Olololoooo, comprising Njemanze Chiamaka and Ajoiyi Kosisochukwu secured the Second Best Team award at the tournament. Their teamwork, strategic insight, and persuasive delivery stood out among a strong field of competitors.
These achievements further underscore the steady rise of GOUNIDC on the debating circuit and reaffirm the Council’s commitment to nurturing articulate, confident, and globally competitive debaters.
