Achieved a historic milestone by reaching the semi-finals of the British Parliamentary Debate for Nigerian universities after just one month of preparation. Earned a medal for 3rd place in adjudication and was honored as the Most Promising Debate Team in Nigeria.
Godfrey Okoye University's esteemed quiz program, "In the Know," is a current affairs and general knowledge competition tailored for the university's students. Sponsored by Umuchinemere PMFB, the first season saw three brilliant students emerge as winners. The proud recipients were recently awarded their prize money by our Vice Chancellor, Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke. Kingsley Unije, a final-year Computer Science student, claimed the star prize, while Olufemi Yusuf, a final-year Mass Communication student, took home second place. Immaculate Ndubuisi, a dedicated student from the Faculty of Education, secured the third prize. Congratulations to all the winners!
